Celia J. Harrison is a registered patent attorney, and she focuses on Intellectual Property law, primarily on the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications. Celia’s practice concentrates on the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics, chemical applications, and nanotechnology.
Prior to entering the law, Celia received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from U.C. Berkeley. She completed post-doctoral studies at the Rockefeller University/Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Later, as a Principal Investigator at the Boston Biomedical Research Institute, Celia received funding from the National Institutes of Health for biophysical and biochemical studies of molecular chaperones and neurodevelopmental proteins.
